"Two sisters", Julie and Shelly, live 4 miles apart sharing our breeding philosophies and responsibilities. Our furry companions are raised as part of our family, enjoying the freedom of country life. Your puppies play with our children and are very "socialized" with cousins and many friends!
Types of "Almond Blossom" Designer Doodles
"Teddy Bear" English Goldendoodles are a hybrid cross between purebred English Cream Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle. English Retrievers are known for their mild temperament, stocky build, square face, and beautiful long wavy coat. These traits are passed on to the puppies, giving the appearance of a big fluffy "Teddy Bear". Goldendoodles are everyone's friend, very intelligent and easily trained, with "gentle" being the single most commonly used word to describe them. They are also becoming popular guide and therapy dogs.
English Goldendoodles weigh: 60 to 85 pounds.
Colors: English cream, Champagne, and Black
Miniature/Medium Goldendoodles are for the people who want a smaller " Teddy Bear" Doodle.
Weight varies on mini's: 30-50 lbs. Colors: English Creams ~ Apricots
Goldendoodle Facts
Temperament Doodles are intelligent and obedient; devoted to family and a friend to strangers; sociable and happiest when with people.
Trainability Doodles are highly trainable; intelligent and their eagerness to please make's them very easy to train. We reccomend continued puppy classes for a well mannered family friend.
Grooming Requires regular brushing and combing to keep the coat in good condition; a haircut every 8-12 weeks is recommended to shorten the coat for easier care.
Special Benefits Their low to nonshedding coats; also they excel as a service or therapy dogs, and at canine sports.
Socialization Very social; enjoys meeting people and other dogs; typically not aggressive toward other dogs, cats or people.
Activity Ideas "Fetch" comes naturally to the Doodle's due to their retrieving instinct. Canine sports, swimming, walking or hiking are excellent activities for this intelligent crossbreed.
