She looks almost identical to Vinny her brother, all black and shabby looking! She loves to play and sometimes roughhouse with Honey. Honey is like an opera singer when Bella plays with her. She is still a great dog whom we love very much. Our friends dog just passed away and wants a Doodle too, so we recommended you to them and hope they find a good dog. We will try to send a picture of Bella to you so you can see our BEAutiful Bella!"

Hi Julie and Shelly,

Happy New Year!  I wanted to write and tell you how much we are enjoying Shiloh.  She is 12 weeks old now and is growing so fast.  She weighs 21 pounds already.   She is completely housebroken and "sits" on command.  She has become great friends with our 12 year old Greyhound, Indy.  They play and wrestle every day.  I think they are really enjoying each other's company.  Shiloh still sleeps in a crate at night but has run of the house and backyard during the day.   She loves to play with all her toys but also loves to be cuddled.  She follows us from room to room and naps anywhere, as long as she is close to us.  We will be starting puppy classes next Saturday.   What a great addition to our family!

Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2007 to you and your families.

We are in puppy school now.  "Barkley"  learned "sit" the first week we had him.  He
goes to our office with us and our patients love him.  They even stop by
just to see him and check out how much he has grown. They think he looks
like a teddybear.  Last weekend we took him snowboarding in the backcountry,
and he made his way down the mountain right behind us.
Thank you so much for giving us our perfect snow dog!

We just wanted to bring you up to date on the puppy we got from you last December. We absolutely adore him. We are amazed at his reaction to other people/dogs...he is the friendliest dog we've ever experienced...for us this was an important change. He loves to be around other people...young or old, uniformed or not...it doesn't seem to matter he just LOVES others. He seems to have a built in sense of when to be gentle too...amazing. He also has quite the sense of humor...stealing things....bringing in rocks and trying to hide them...sneaking on the furniture and giving us a look...or suddenly stopping while on a walk just to smell the air....Today he met another goldendoodle. It was fun watching the two of them. In talking with the owner they have the same types of habits. He is very quick to learn even if it is "Hmmm if I get on the furniture and they say off and I do then I'll get a treat"...We're trying to catch up with his smartness in dog school. He was neutered last week and recovering well. Next week it's off to his first grooming...

Seriously we thank you for the great dog. We do, and have, recommended you to others.

Hi Shelly,

I just thought I would share some pictures of Snickers and the family now that he he has turned one.  He is an absolute joy to have around and is the most gentle and sweet dog.  A Goldendoodle really makes the perfect family dog.

We took Snickers up to Tahoe several times this winter and people went out of their way to meet and pet him.  He was quite the hit at Squaw and Northstar where they are very dog friendly.  Snickers is always a hit at the little league games.  All the boys want to come over and play with him rather than sit on the bench and wait for their turn at bat.  Snickers makes friends wherever he goes and is the perfect gentleman.  We couldn't be happier.

Warm regards,
Nancy
I hope all is well with you and your family. Olive is a treasure -
she really attracts attention. Everybody stops to talk with her when
we go for a walk. She loves the attention.  My youngest son is due
home from college next week, and he is so excited to be around her
again.

Take care,

Hi Shelly and Julie,
We wanted to share a photo of Murphy.  He is now 85 pounds and is a
huge love.  The photos were taken near Booneville when we were on our annual
Memorial Day camping trip.  He was a great camper.  He is a wonderful dog
with all children.  We couldn't be happier with him.  Thanks!

He is so easy to train.  We went first night - 5 hours barking non-stop
then 4 hours sleep to the next night - 15 minutes bark, 6 hours sleep -
to now - 5 minutes bark and 8 hours sleep through the night.  He is
great.  Quick learner.  He is on leash 3 times a day, learning to sit,
and trying to teach him to not bite on everything under the sun.

Hello and good afternoon,

Lora, Ben and I are so very happy with Lexie. She is without a doubt the most well loved dog in the world. She is now 13 weeks and 27lbs. She knows sit, down and almost stay and doing a great job on the leash, walking on the left and sitting when we stop.

The biggest reason I am writing is my aunt and uncle have completely fallen in love with her. They just lost their 14year old Basset Hound and would love to have a mini English Goldendoodle.

Thanks again for your time and for our wonderful doodle!

Hi Shelly and Julie,
I was visiting your site and saw all the other updates so I wanted to email you an
update on our LOLA. She was from your October 11th, 2006 litter.

She has been such an amazing puppy and such a joy in our family. She is now almost
10 months old and we cannot imagine being without her. She is loved by everyone and
has wonderful manners with all adults and children. As you can see in the photos she loves
her stuffed animals particularly the monkeys.

She still has class once a week just to keep her on her toes, but she is extremely smart
and very attentive.

Thank you so much for our baby girl! Our parents now refer to her as their grand-dog.

"Maya was the star of her class-certainly because she’s so cute, but also because she has lots of energy!"

Maya is our first puppy and she has been a delight. She loves to play-shaking toys and tug-of-war with Ed are her favorites.  But she equally loves to curl up on our laps and just be close.  She is very good with commands like sit, down, stay and come.  However, she gets so happy and excited when she sees people or other dogs, that she forgets everything she’s learned!

Maya is such a wonderful part of our lives.  She is adorable, has a great personality and is truly a happy pup.  Thank you so much for all you did to bring such loving puppy into our life.

I just thought I’d send a current picture of Abbie and let you know that she’s just fabulous.  There have been challenging times but at 10 months she seems to have decided to settle down a bit.  She’s very loving and sweet and adorable looking.  We get compliments constantly and always refer people to you!

I hope this email finds you, your family and the pups doing great.  I've attached an updated shot of me and Molly.  In short, she's the most
amazing dog I've ever had.  Debbie and I couldn't be happier.  At two years old, she's now pretty much topped out at 60 lbs and is all muscle
- running every morning and evening for an hour in the park.  Just toss  a tennis ball and she's nonstop energy. She never barks, unless the
doorbell rings; is incredible with children, babie, everybody; loves the beach; and has an incredibly gentle "take" - there's no risk of losing a
finger when feeding Molly.

Besides catching up to you, I'm following up on a promise I made to my daughter.  She got married last December, is a teacher in the Boston area and just bought her first house.

Lots of room, a fenced in yard  and she's puppy deprived.  She's very interested in a mellow doodle and  I told her I'd follow-up with my favorite breeder.

Here is a picture of "Watch", our 5 month old 30+ lb puppy.  We should have named her "Weed" because that's how she's growing. ;-) She is spirited, affectionate, and loves us all, particularly our son Evan.  We are seeing some of the calm and gentle dog like her mother now that she is a bit older.

Thanks!

Toby has quickly found his way into our hearts and our home.  He is a very friendly puppy and such a lovebug.  Everywhere we go with him people stop us to comment on how adorable and teddybear like he is :).  At 11 weeks old he's already learned to sit and fetch.  We're so delighted with Toby.  We sent a few photos to show you (and the kids) how well he's doing. Thanks for taking such good care of our little guy while he was at your home.

Wishing you and your family (and all the beautiful doodles) a very Merry Christmas and Joyous New Year!

I just wanted to send you some pictures of Tucker with my kids. They are
loving him so much! We put him in his crate for lots of naps so he can get a
break from them but he seems to love the attention. He is doing so well.

Not really any accidents in the house anymore. The first two nights he got
up to go out a few times but after than he just started sleeping all night
in his crate from 9 or 10 until 7am when the kids get up. I don't hear a
peep from him and he is in the crate right next to the bed. He will take
naps in it during the day too or on the floor or wherever we are!

I feel like I can go out during the day for a big outing and leave him for
about three hours now too. He has learned to sit also and is going to the
bathroom sort of on command now in the bark area of the yard we have for
him.

Thanks so much for our little guy. We are loving him. He had his first vet
appointment last week and starts puppy kindergarten soon.

All the neighbor kids love him and he seems to get along with the neighbor
shepard and cocker spaniel.

I have enclosed a few pictures of our wonderful Ziggy. He is best puppy
ever; he is so loving, smart, and endearing. Our family is completely smitten
with him!  He has done very well with his puppy classes, and the trainers  love
him. When we all are gone for more than an hour or so, we take him to  the
training center which also has puppy daycare. Since he doesn't receive his  second
set of shots until Monday, he stays in the offices (instead of the play
area) with the trainers; he loves it there, and they do a short training  session
each time.  Ziggy is very socialized, and the trainers say  that his
temperament and personality are unbelievably good!

He is growing like a weed, and is even bigger than the latest picture I
attached. We will take current pictures this weekend. His coat is jet black, and
incredibly soft. Everyone who meets him, falls in love with him. Jeff brought
him to my school yesterday, and all my coworkers wanted him.

Thank you for our furry gift of joy; you just cannot help but smile when  you
look at him.  As you can tell, Ziggy has stolen our hearts!

Hi Julie & Shelly,

We were just on your site checking out all the pictures and thought we'd
send a couple of ours along, especially after seeing the photo of Lola, who
we think is one of our Sunny's sisters!   Since we have had Sunny she has
brought nothing but joy and love into our lives, and to everyone who she
meets.  She is incredibly sweet, smart, funny and the cuddliest creature
ever!  We are about to celebrate her first birthday on October 11th;
however, she still looks like a puppy even though she's 75 pounds!  We can't
imagine our lives without her and everyday love her more and more (if that's
even possible!).

Thank you for bringing Sunny into our lives.

Hello Julie & Shelly,

Well it's hard to believe that our little puppy has turned one already.  We have really enjoyed her over this last year.  She is such a love as well as a little trickster.  One of her favorite things to do is to steal my son's blanket and sneak out in the backyard with it.  Attached are a few pictures of her with her new haircut (her tummy hair was all matted from growing back in after being spayed).

We just wanted to let you know she is doing great and we have had a great time having her become a member of our family.

into a lap dog, although only half his body fits onto
my lap.  Our kids love him!   Charlie seems to like
kissing my son the most, he's constantly licking his
face, which makes my son laugh.

The children on our cul-de-sac love Charlie too.  They
ring our doorbell and ask if Charlie can come out to
play.  Some of the kids have given him the title of
"Best Dog on Our Street".  Charlie is so gentle and
very submissive."

Attached is a picture of mini-goldendoodle Lucy on Dec. 30th, 2007 where she
is a little more than 1 year old (litter born from Lily on Dec 3, 2006).
She's about 27 or 28 lbs and we think she's fully grown since she hasn't
been changing much physically. Even though I spend every day with her, I'm
still in awe by how well behaved and intelligent she is. She has a wonderful
personality and we love her very much. Thank you for everything!

Hope you and your family have a wonderful new year.

Shelly/Julie -

Just a quick note to let you know how happy our household has been since we brought Callie home.

Callie has been wonderful.  Of course, there was plenty of "puppiness", both the good and the bad.  She is growing like mad, has taken well to training and has a wonderful temperment.

I've attached a picture from a few weeks ago for you to see.  We have also passed your name along to some people that Kate works, so you may get some other calls from people in Bakersfield.

Hi Julie,

It's Mary Jane ...Honey's Mom!!  We were the first family there on 1/5/08!!  We named her Honey b/c of her color and in our hearts it's Honeysuckle, named from a flower like her Mom...But we call her Honey for short, and Honey Bear comes out alot b/c she's like a Teddy Bear.

I will try and make this as short as possible, but it's really an ironically strange story.  I work for Retina Surgeons, and this was the week after we adopted Honey...one of my co-workers was asking me about her, etc., and the patient overheard...He said, "Oh..you have a new puppy?"..so do I..He asked what kind I have and I told him Goldendoodle...he said...."Wow...so do I! When did you get it?"  I told him the date and he said, "You've got to be kidding me...me too!!"

He and his wife were there right after us..the Malkovich's...in any event..they live 5 miles from Eric and I and Ruby and Honey are going to have a 'doodle date' on Monday....

Thanks for a new love in my family's lives!!

  Mary Jane

I just wanted to write and give you and update on Tucker. He is doing so
great and he is just the sweetest most MELLOW puppy you have EVER met! He is
the biggest couch potato lazy dog! We LOVE it!!! He is still have a blast in
his obedience classes. He doesn't really need them but it is something fun
to do with him.

There are two trainers in the classes we are in.  She loves
Tucker and likes the pups to play so about once a week she comes over for a
puppy playdate..hello playdates for the dog, I NEVER thought that would be
me! They have so much fun and having the trainer come over is so nice for
advice, etc.

Anyway hope you and your family and the dogs are doing well. You are
probably getting ready for your next litter I would think. Glad we are
through the rough patch with the puppy puppy and potty training and
everything but they sure do get big quick!

Are you still coming to Carlsbad this summer? I am sure you will have fun.
Let me know if you want some names of restaurants or places to go.

Hi Julie and Shelley!
I thought you might like to hear about Reggie, the new Canadian!  She is loving North Vancouver, and we get so many compliments about how lovely she is.  She is super smart as well, and is doing great in puppy class.  She can sit, stay, lie down and fetch (ok, she doesn't always let go of what she brings back, but we're working on it!)  She had her final set of shots today and got the all clear from the vet to go to the dog park, where she made lots of new friends.  She is so friendly with other dogs, children, everyone she meets really!  She has already mastered potty training, (thank goodness for crate training-we couldn't have done it without the crate!) and it has been weeks since she has had an accident inside.  Also, she goes down for the night without a fuss.  In fact, she very rarely barks for attention.  She has been a wonderful addition to our family, thank you so much for sending her our way.  Hope all is well with you and yours.
